Muslims have knowledge, Money and Education; especially the middle east countries, but why they are far away from the technology in the west?

They did not have knowledge or education. only have money. Petrol money which are being used to buy technology not invent

muslim coutries should rely on its qualified people and make a solid plan .this inquires seriouseness, time, and efforts ...once a basis is built.the country starts to see its tecnologic dependance decreasing .

It is not in money and education that technology advancement rely on. It's also in belief, culture and tradition of the country that sometimes press the freedom to move on for the advancement of technology. 

we also can ask the same question to nonmuslim why with all this technology their community is disconnected even their families 

Why Islam has yet to reconcile faith and reason, other factors such as dictatorial regimes and unstable funding are more important obstacles to science and technology's flourishing in the Muslim world. Significant progress depends on changes in values and institution, no small order.

Its more appropriate to use Arab people not Muslim and based on history technology and science development flourished to much in the ancient Arabic region. But when oil was discovered and become the global necessity money flourished and replaced the ambition of technological and science development. In this turn of of event the Arab become more hesitant to do research in technological advancement and rely more to the money the oil is giving them.

They start adopting from West & left the invention as this was history of Muslims.
