However, In a uniform gravity field , both center of gravity and center of mass will be same.
All objects behave as though their mass (the stuff they're made from) is concentrated at a point called their center of gravity
(as long as you are on earth)
Centre of Gravity = the point where all the weight seems to be concentrated.
Centre of Mass = the point where all the mass seems to be concentrated.
Where the weight of an object is usually taken to be the force on the object due to the gravity . Also we know that the mass of any body is constant and the weight is variable according to gravity (the weight is not the same for the same mass if it in the earth and if it in the moon or the space).
