Why we do not use tetracycline for children or pregnant women?

Tetracyclines are not used in pregnancy because they cause motilling of teeth in the newborn and bone defirmities

Because of colouration of teeth

Tetracycline not used in the pregnancy because Tetracycline react with calcium carbonate ,Calcium carbonate already present in milk ....Tetracycline react with milk and increase white precipitate. Precipitate not dissolved in the body so not used in pregnancy.... I think do u understand ..

it causes temporary suppresion of bone growth
