How does Directors' choice makes irritation among managers in selection for recruitment?

I would suggest that once the different roles are properly explained and steps taken to ensure that people know what is expected of them, the different posts are able to understand their places and parameters. It's rather like a football club owner trying to tell the coach which players to select for games. While the club owner deserves respect, the coach is the one who spends time with the players and is able to interpret their strengths and weaknesses. Coordination between the players, coaching staff, club directors and the owners through clear and effective communication therefore can create a winning team.
