Explain the co-relation between electrical preventive maintenance and energy conservation.

Energy conservation is by itself a complete field of practice which also includes elimination of loosess. Preventive maintenance is alsofocused on reducing losses of electrical equipment or tramsmission. They both are somehow related and connected to each other but have their own scope of work. In my understanding, replacing an inefficient electrical equipment with high efficiency equipment comes under 'energy conservation' but this equipment also needs preventive maintenannce in order to keep or improve its functionality and reducing looses.
