How do you treat junior people?

Respect, Be approachable, helping them when they need assistance and making them comfortable at work and treating them equally and not as junior staff

respect, train, give chance, let them fall in problems and check their reactions and motivate

How we treat people is very important and reflective of our personalities - irrespective of the persons status, designation, etc..
Ideally one must treat all with respect and courtesy (be it personal or professional)..
Even if a subordinate has made an error, it is best to politely bring this to the persons notice and give them a chance to correct the error..

We all must have the concept of how to deal every body regardless the Place / The religions By We are the same ( No body born with any knowledge ) but we learn by our self or you find somebody that support you and make you learn , by sequence we Must all treat any one as he / she was just born and try to support by giving he / she the way of learning as you will not be available with Him / Her all the time , You live today and tomorrow you are not here , So every one must show any one the way to learn even a1000 times and don't get the feeling he / she stupide, every one can learn but Please GIVE EVERY ONE THE SPACE TO LEARN.

but also try not to be very lenient at the same time.

Juniors are called juniors because they are like kids dealing with adults. 

This implies lots of care, guidance, coaching, handholding, sometimes spoon-feeding and in extreme cases 'pampering" to avoid embarrasing situations if the worst comes to the worst !
