"Education is about adapting the change of the world", Do you agree that this statement states expected role of today Education?

Education is a continuous process of learning. During this process, the participants - teachers and students come across new dimensions of knowledge. This knowledge opens new vistas to ideas and inventions. Thus our world is going through a process of change which seems to be endless.

This change is multifaceted; material, spiritual, moral, ethical, scientific, cultural and linguistic etc.

Education required for human being and proving yourself

I agree and take the liberty of rephrasing the statement as  "Education is also about adapting the change of the world".

While it is supposed to be so,I am afraid it is failing to satisfy that essential need.If it did then we wouldn't be having graduates going about unemployed and so desperate.

Very true. Education transforms an individual. If all or at least some are educated in the society, then world shall become more beautiful place to live, with changes in economics, society, religion and politics.

Absolutely education is changing our lives hence our world. 

But education alone fails to meet this mission should be reiforced with proper training and physical education (sports).

 

Change is the spice of life...so to add spice to your boring same old method of teaching i strongly feel timely change is very much necessary.

Yes! As technology changes, history is repeated, and society changes it is important to keep up with them. Preparing students with the right tools for the future is crucial and I believe that is where the problem lays in most Middle Eastern countries. Change is ALWAYS good.
