There are similar English words in pronunciation and sometimes one word could have different meanings. how can you help your students differentiate?

Due to  vowels sounds, diphthongs, monophonic ,  these words  used in different context, different meanings in context,help students differentiate is to use these words in context and sentences

We call this in English  homophones. I think the best way to help students differentiate is to use these words in context and sentences. I have eight books. Ali ate lunch yesterday.
