There are several ways to use video to replace or enhance the PR staples. For example:

  • Create a video press release of sorts using your customers to tell your story. Showcasing end-users is so much more powerful that an exec. talking head.
  • Create personalized video pitches to send to key reporters.
  • Turn your best blog posts into vlogs and promote accordingly.
  • Record interviews of key industry players and use in blog posts, eNewsletters, etc.
  • Create a video for your online pressroom that welcomes reporters and explains what you can offer them. You can also create a video version of a speakers' bureau.

The best part is that these apply to both B2B and B2C! Keep in mind that mobile content consumption is super hot, so videos, blogs, websites, etc. should be mobile friendly!
