What do you think of direct greywater recycling for potable water production?

From what I know, Singapore's NEWater project uses greywater recycling product to recharge a local reservoir. Another way is to reuse as industrial water, using a separate distribution system. What about if there is only1 distribution system? What do you think of the halal/thahir issue (if applicable)?

Recycling of grey water is a good option, but should be used for other purposes. Still if wanna use as potable water then it has to be disinfected first. Septic tanks or biological treatment, filtration and disinfection are the treatment options.
