A Key customer is a person or a company who gives  a substantial amount of business to your organisation. These key customers some times are given special discounts like cash discount,trade discounts, turn over discounts, quantity discounts and other privileges according to the organisation's policies. they may also be given a lenient payment facilities by the organisation.

A Key customer is the person/enterprise who is  well qualified to define the strength of Your Customer relations and contribute to streamline your business by way of Revenue and Goodwill.

Customers are identified through the company's targeted audience. They are the main source of revenue for an organisation. Key customers depend on the nature of the business and what a company is trying to sell, e.g a company selling luxury bath suites their key customers will not be students of young age and in full time education, they will target families, employed individuals, wealthy people and so on.
