Allen Bradely PLC is known to be easier than Siemens PLC programming.When i started PLC programming , my first PLC was SLC500 from AB.It took me1 month to understand it and1 year to have good hands on Experience on AB.
No matter what PLC you use , to have good knowldege you have to keep Programming different application .
You will also learn from other PLC programming which is written by some other person , which may give you some new idea.
You can go through the simulator programs which help you in learning the programing language and the most easy one for AB is the LogixPro program
