CEO (Chief Executive Officer) is the highest position in an organization. Both General Manager and Managing Director have to answer to CEO. General Manager is the manager of all departments within the organization while Managing Director is the director of all managers. Its sort of like a management ladder where CEO is the top and goes down to Managing Director and finally General Manager.
