How do you draw a rectangle in AutoCAD?

1.   You shall draw using four perpendiculat lines.

2.    Direct command is Rec Enter. Select starting point & opposite corner.

3.   Click on rectangle symbol to select the command. Select starting point & opposite corner.

by button line or determine points and conect them with line button

or rectangle button

or enter  X , Y axis and conect with ( L ) or  rec button

You can draw a rectangle using "REC" command. Enter first corner points as0,0 both X & Y axis will be0(Zero) then enter the size of the rectangle required in the form X,Y axis both X & Y axis will be seperate with comma.

For Example  : First corner0,0 other corner10,20, then You will get length10 & width20 rectangle.

There are several ways ...one is keying in rec and enter; select coordinates till you have the shape and size of the rectangular shape; there is also an icon which lets you place it or selecting the start point and entering the length of the line enter and repeat till you have the shape... all depends on the individual how he or she chose to methods  

By write brief of rectangle (rec) inside information tab locates in the bottom of screen then press enter then go to rec. location in the screen and choose either input dimensions or area of rec. for create the rec. 

There are another methods that by drawing rec. by line command or by choose command rec. from tab bar in top of the screen.

rec , enter , you will get three options AREA, DIMENSION & ROTATION then enter D and give dimensions for rectangle.

write Rectangle or "Rec" in Command Bar and press "Enter Button" after that you select "Dimension" Option, by using this option you enter the dimensions (length and width) which you required,
