A Business Development Executive works to generate new business for a company. They are experienced sales professionals who use their skills and experience to the best advantage of the company. These executives are good at handling multiple clients and have very good customer relations skills.

  2. Promoting products

  3. Performing follow up duties

  4. Managing clients

  5. Attending meetings, training sessions and seminars

  6. Providing feedback to managers

  7. Researching market trends

 

 

Simply he should take care of existing business units and help starting new business units.

Properly  analyse  the  current  trend & fashion,  market  &  fashion  changes  and  of course  the  availability  of  the  raw  material as well.  Based  on  the  above  mentioned  studies  place  the  proper  product  for  sales.  Example Footwear.  If  you  don't  analyse  well,  this  will  not  sale, because  footwear  is mostly  season  oriented  business  like  Summer,  Winter,  Fall,  Autumn..  If  the  season  ends - then  it'll  be  very  difficult  to  sale.  So,  as  a  business  development  manager - Proper  analysis  of  the  market is  very  important.
