There is lack of collaboration between marketing and sales teams. Both sales, and marketing heads need to step into find root cause of the issue, and sort it out. They will have to make the expectations from each other clear, and sort out if there are any professional differences.. Hold some team building activities so that people know each other more better than can help people to deliver per the expectations..

Try assessing your sales team performance, if they are not up-to the mark, Provide them a proper sales training including sales techniques. If still they don't perform according to your expectations you might have to dissolve your sales team.
