It does, we all need some off-work time to spend with our colleagues. Team buildings, company events, parties, these are all helpful in building good social relationships between employees, managers, and all office staff.

Yes I belief and agree with you. It helps to reduce of staff stress and motivate to work productively.

It depends on what type of social events and how often these events are scheduled.  A certain amount of generalized socializing can build a "team" feel within the group, but you do run the risk of oversocializing and creating comtempt within the ranks because of preceived favoritism when too many specialized events are planned and certain people are left out of the festivities.

This is natural that people like to meet, discuss, share and spend their time with happiness. If employees get chances of gathering they show more interest and energy at in all their assignments. Better companies should arrange such kind of events after a specific period throughout the year.
