firstly, and before MSDS, in order to be good in chemical safety you should study OSHA courses (Occupational Safety and Health Administration ) for general indusries. This course will show you how can you be safe in any place in the work area In addition to the handling and dealing with chemicals and also will teach you how can you read and understand all info. about the chemicals in MSDS(Material Safety Data Sheet).
also you should know about GLP(Good Laboratory Practices) "VERY IMPORTANT".
