I Think this is depend on the nature and type of insurance required , if the insurance required is :-
A)concerning financial losses that may be occur in the future due to market fluctuations such as prices, demand .........etc , this future trends failure are certainly not covered by insurance.
B) concerning insurance of property may be covered in terms of consequential losses such as loss of profit and loss of rent that may arises following direct loss due covered incident.
