What is the analytical machine?

Analytical machine, if it were built, would be the first programmable computer.  The principle of its operation was similar to modern digital computers with software controlled waveform calculations.  The instructions were to be stored on punch cards, calculations performed using memory and print solutions.  Since then the level of technology, brilliant full realization of this project was not possible.   general purpose, four measures: +, -, *, /  memory - the magazine, the (store); processor - mill (mill), the program (external) on punched cards  instructions: repetition, conditional branching  moved a couple (steam engine) 'll never constructed, but in 1871 (just before his death Babbage), assembled fragment composed of parts of the mill (CPU) and the printing apparatus

The Analytical Engine was a proposed mechanical general-purpose computer designed by English mathematician Charles Babbage. It was first described in1837 as the successor to Babbage's difference engine, a design for a mechanical computer.

The Analytical Engine introduced a number of computing concepts still in use today. Features included a store and mill, analogous to today's memory and processor . Input and output was provided using punched cards, based on the invention by Jacquard in the early1800s.

I think it is a machine that has some form of artificial intelligence that helps analyze problems and provides suggestions on the next course of action.

In fact I don't know exatly what you mean ? but I think analytic machine is a that can mainpolate data may be the first one is the Pascal Machine. Pascal invent a machine for his father which can add many numbers and it operate as stack or contaier which recieve many numbers and add them up.
