Let me give you an example Cost of material + cost of labour + fuel cost = Direct cost. + overhead cost including lighting, depreciating of plant and machinery, = cost of production. There are certain adjustments to be made like stock of raw materials and finished goods in opening and closing stock to get to the actual cost of good sold. If you add to that sales and advertising cost you get cost of sales. Deduct that amount from actual sales and you get to gross profit and net profit figures , before and after taxation. There is also an amount of debtors and creditors involved and a reserve has to be kept for bad debts. That is how you run the operations of a small production/trading firm. For a corporate body it is an independent entity from the owners. It has to pay interest on debentures and dividend to owners. • I also know the basics of how to run a call center or a chat process to give post sales support to customers. About the Csat parameters. How to turn detractors ( customers who could vent their anger in the social media and bring bad reputation to the co ) and fence sitters into Brand followers by giving delightful customer service. • All about service level factors like AHT, average handling time , average talk time etc. The survey return rate and the survey sent rate. • How dead air on call can affect customer experience and how to reduce that. I also know about the Life Fund concept in Life insurance . The basics about selling mutual funds life and health insurance to different classes and age groups depending on affordability
