As ITIL is an International Standards Organization which Sets up Industry Benchmark in Consortium with Multi Manufacturer Vendors and Govt Organization it is easy to be compatible and interfacing with various systems manufactured by many companies. Whereas Proprietary Systems are only compatible with Industrial resources which have tie up with company thus holding monopoly.
