How can someone recognize a DB2 database dump?

You have to monitor db2diag.log, when a dump file is created or appended, an entry is made in the db2diag.log indicating the time and the type of data written and the unique phrase for a dump file inside the log will be "Dump File" which represents the location of that dump file.
