For architects, why ArchiCad is not usable so much, in the face of his big advantage?

I see Archicad is absent vis-a-vis Autocad despite his great advantages for architectes.

Archicad offers to users many advantages and despite that he is not usable so much, that is true to an extent, Archicad is used successfully by over100,000 users in more than100 countries, by my experience he is well used in France, Belgium, Switzerland etc...
Most of architects or architecture students use basically Autocad because it's the most used not only by architects but also by engineers which make connection easier and faster, but they ignore that Graphisoft made many improvements in order to improve exchange between archicad and other programs like MEP for example or even3Ds or Cinema4D etc...
There was an other problem with old versions of archicad, some complex forms cannot be done easily even with adds on provided like archisuite, but with new tools like morph tool or shell tool that come with archicad16 I think that this problem is resolved well.
I have to say that an ordinary user or architect or designer prefers to use Autocad with3ds max that come from the same company so they are suitable and fluid together than using archicad, in addition many people ignore that Archicad associated with Artlantis (render engine) can give wonderful results.
In the end I say that is a question of time for archicad to be more spread all over the world because version by version the program offers to users a lot of improvements and innovations.

Thanks very much, Abdallah for the explanation, in addition I see the architects in north africa and middle-East they habitue Auto CAD (standard), they don't know very well Archi CAD, at least they didn't try it, and specially Archi CAD16, in my opinion Archicad is better than autocad (for architects).....damage,

Dear Abdalla I appreciate your great explanation for Archicad , I think Archicad is the most wonderful BIM software available for all designers and architects .
As you said the latest versions of Archicad developed new techniques and tools like Morgh , Shell and BIMX which make unique innovative improvements to the methods of design and enhanced the collaboration between architects that makes design really as a fun.
The light works with the wonderful rendering engine like Artlantis , provide the designer with a wonderful tool to create amazing snapshots from the design which really fill the gap between the virsual world and the real world .
Also the ability of creating great presentation from the design model by Archicad16 is out of compare .
Archicad is a great BIM software I ever used ,so I take this chance to invite all the members to visit my page in facebook to see designs that I made using Archicad16 the address is: www.facebook.com/Harinco.
Thank you All the best Eng.

From my perspective; ArchiCAD is developing in the right sense of usage not only for architects but for every one involved in the project life cycle. I believe that the Open BIM process ArchiCAD is applying makes the software fantastic. And the easy handling of the geometry makes ArchiCAD "easy to learn and fun to use". ArchiCAD can and will get to a wider range of users in time but it needs good publicity because its UI is a bit different from that of Autocad (which is the top drawing software used in the area) and that's why many people are hesitant to give it a try, but I'm sure if they come over that obstacle they will be blown away by the fantastic features ArchiCAD has to offer
