What is the definition (crisis management) and what are the tasks?

Crisis Management - The ability of employees, managers, or individuals in any type of atmosphere, scenario, or work environment to deal with an emergency or crisis.

A panic situation prevailing in a organisational set up which explains a potential threat to the business exhistance, threat to leadership- threat to share holders, Financial stagnation,  threat on account of Government policy changes or other external factors.  The task involves, Create a Team, Assess the crisis, Extension of massive support, create a new leadership, Quickj strategies, Review the situation, liaisen with various Officers, resolve the crisis well before the extreme end. 

Crisis management is to manage the problem in the present situation rather than managing a project or a company team... You may temporarely change a team or a plan to get the urged probem get solved with less losses and timely respect scope.

Crisis management is the mechanism of defusing common problems which occurring during project running phase with the production of unexpected events, interruptions, or emergencies and required ability of command & control of an organization boss with teams to be specific & flexible with priorities and actions to organize the work within its proper order to lead the project with its100% success. 

Tasks to handle during this period:

1-   Meetings of the different work group teams under their heads to communicate, planning and control the situation with the most urgent basis actions.

2-   Specific Solutions must be presenting by each team for discussions, and approval to control the crises.

3-   Execution of those approved solution must be according to the planned solution to solve that crises situation.

4-   Top management must see the implementation and monitor the situation with time to time to get fruitful results.

5-    During strategies implementation process the management also have other plans like plan ‘B ‘incase results are not satisfactory.

6-   These teams must also prepare a report of the possible dangers and subsequent creations of crises situation.

7-   Project start Technical work, implementing method and concern execution authorities’ abilities and previous performance must be revised by the crises management teams to look for all weak points. This will provide proofs for the ongoing crises creation of the concern project.

8-   Work schedule and teams performances must be studied with all possible revisions and changing of times and groups. New additions of team leaders, members and creation of new groups to minimize the crises and bring the situation in control.

9-   Strict actions of punishment required for those team heads and members involvements & creating mismanagement which leads to crises.

10-Professional and experienced teams must hold the situation and prepare a final report as top documentation at the end of crises solution to keep it as guide line for future control of crises.

11-Revisions of rules and regulation, all selection procedure of manpower, approval, supplying, purchasing & rental procedure must be revised and monitor for all material, machinery, transportation, sub-contractors, suppliers, dealing and documentation procedure. An accountability system for all must be implementing to stop any future crises.

But when Allah wants to give a loss of life, material, money or anything then we cannot stop it that’s why we must look for our works, dealing and say touba (asking for forgiveness). A good planning is required. But anything can happen accidently with any one , any time in any place so God must protect all of us.
