Normally used micro duct in FTTH projects to minimised the civil infrastructural cost and compat network.
in out side plant normal and mine duct is used but in FTTH mirco and mine duct used
Normal size & mini conduit is the applicable practice is utilized in Aramco projects especially in FTTH.
in Saudi Arabia using 20mm to 50mm duct in telecom sector like Mobily & STC
For Outside Plant Micro duct is more Suitable.
Still in Brunei Darussalam we are using 100mm PVC pipe for Outside construction and 25mm PVC Conduit for Inside plant construction.
very prefarably is the mini duct becourse you have few fibers to play with and is suitable for inside plant construction.
