What is the purpose of a suspense account ?
Used for balancing /adjsuting an entry,which is ambigious.
A temporary or transitory purpose account which is used when for e.g the officer is not sure in which head or account should an entry be made then it is temporarily placed in suspence account. Same is to be reversed and recorded under proper accuont when it is determined.
