Which is more important being effective or efficient? Why?

Both because if you are effective then you must be efficient and if you are efficient then you must be effective.....

both of them are defined in one context but with different approaches.
Efficiency is a measurable concept, quantitatively determined by the ratio of output to input.
"Effectiveness", is a relatively vague, non-quantitative concept, mainly concerned with achieving objectives.
