Being an engineer is an important job.  You are practically the brains of the project; hence, you are involved and rightly so in all decision making and changes to your project - it's feasibility and implications.  It is part and parcel of your job.  Having said that, there are also a number of other positions that are equally engaging.  For example, a program manager - responsible for the entire program, HR manager - responsible for all the employees; a doctor responsible for all his patients and the list goes on.  Thrive on the sense of accomplishment ....

An Engineer is the core part of any industry. Engineer must be active at anytime becoz problems dont knock your door and come in.. They appear instantaneously and en engineer should be very instantly reporting to these problems..

Engineers are like doctors to machines. If a doctor doesnt show up for emergencies the bad situations may turn worse and same goes to engineers..

We shoul feel proud to be engineers and should do what we shoud do.... ur hardwork will surely pay you off.

My experience is that you have to solve all the problems, thats your job, People need to trust you to solve there problems, and mostly these problems start in the minds of responsible people, so they need backup from the engineer asap.

But that gives you the greatest and best experience. But solve it together with the people that have the questions. Give them they idea and tools to solve it.
