How can importer avoid reimbursement charges ?
In General , The agreed norms are that Opener shall bear all the charges of Opening Bank and Beneficiary will bear all the charges of Reimbursement bank.
In some cases where Confirmed L/C is to be open then Opener has to bear the Opening Bank Charge as well as Confirmation Charges of Reimbursement Bank.
The Reimursement charge is being debited by as per above situation, however If it has been agreed by Opener that all chrges of Opening Bank as well as Reimbursement bank will be bear by Opener then all Reimbursement Charges are being debited to Opener instead of esablished practice of being debited to Beneficiary
Thank you for your answer.
