As I am allready managing a data center based in tropical region it won't be much difficult.
The first and foremost thing to keep in mind is that the data center should be located in least Earthquake prone area and the building should well build to handle natural calamities if any.
It should be well connected with the warehouse so that even if the failure in hardware could be easily coped with or replaced
