i believe that females use their heart and mind when engaging in any activity,if you had a sister  growing up you would understand their abilities in engaging everyone in activities, they use all their god givin skills, they are very skilled in always getting what they want through triggering your emotional actions, while males use their mind with no room for emotions with question that are so stiff that require only a right or a wrong answer.

i have reviewed some questions asked by females on bay.com,i can conclude that these questions have feelings, you can feel the urge to participate in answering these questions as they target your mind and heart which makes it very interesting to answer.

its not a matter of being a male or female.it is a matter of asking engaging questions that really look and feel challenging both emotionally and mentaly.

for us males we ask questions that are plain and require a direct answer.there is no room for i think,i feel, mmmm that is interesting...etc.

I believe that (in some cases but definitely not all) it is a "positive descrimination" voting behavior towards ladies (or put bluntly: ladies with pretty pictures), in which a "like" or "vote" from a male is given equally to the picture AND to the answer at the same time, in a permissible way (cause, who would really know what one is really voting for, huh?). I use the term "discriminatory" carefully, because it is an undisputed "man's world" in which some men assume that ladies, pretty ladies, who happen to be smart are worthy of an extra vote (or vice versa).

Women themselves would agree with me that it's a needless form of "positive discrimination" in our time, with global rates of higher-education level being dominated by females and not males, to mention some indication.

I believe this online behaviour is a universal thing, as Mr. Thiab said, also known in the so-called "more feminine" or "more masculine" cultures , like Western cultures, but far more common in Eastern, typically masculine, cultures (like African, Middle Eastern, Asian & Far Asian cultures with varying degrees) where the normal act of "flirting" in real life is also disguised, shy and prolonged by the man with all kinds of cautiousness and social correctness within a (mostly) tight "social control culture". Direct flirting is sometime a straight-out insult! So, one should not let go of a chance to do it in such a socially-correct way: a Q&A forum.

In other cultures, such "gender oriented positive discrimination" vote seeking closeness, openness for a chance or the show of beauty appreciation, could easily be viewed as offensive by a woman who like to be treated and ADRESSED with something other than her appearance.

And forums, like this one, are full with such "flirting" commentary behavior that forces some fine high-participation ladies to simply remove their otherwise congenial pictures, to avoid unwanted attention. It's a cultural dilemma that can't be changed overnight.

(I hope to have offended no one directly or indirectly by casting my sober & direct view here. It's just an opinion)

I agree with this oobservation in general ...

This could be a cultural thing that is more noticable in the middle-east ....  But it could also be a global thing having to do with the feminine/masculine bonds ..  and ... law of attraction

Personally, I do NOT care for this at all

I try to answer ant question that I know regardless who raises it ... male or female !!

Its the power of attraction. nothing else to explain.
