Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an Accountant.

Responsibilities:

  • Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Generate financial reports for management, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization's liquidity.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
  • Computing taxes.
  • Preparing and documenting payroll records
  • Preparing payment orders
  • Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
  • Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare documentation and schedules for external auditors.
  • Assist in the completion of audits and address any audit findings.
  • Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
  • Examining and processing expenses submitted by employees
  • Creating company financial reports with the above information included
  • Analyzing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
  • Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with and train clerks
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support.
  • Collaborate with finance and management teams to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Report to Office Manager and Executive Team

Requirements
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in Accounting.
  • SOCPA certified
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field
  • Advanced level of Arabic language (written and spoken)
  • Advanced level of English language (written and spoken)
