Job Summary / Purpose :
Perform 3D high-definition file surveys for laser scanning projects. Determine the required areas and volume of materials needed during construction and ensure that the construction takes place in the correct relative and absolute position. Record the final position of the construction, including any design changes or movement.
Keys of Responsibilities :
- Assist BDM/Technical team with scope sheets, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Conduct survey operations such as boundary, topography, leveling, design, as-built, and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks using a full range of survey equipment.
- Provide confirmation of layout and installation, to include capturing as-built data as needed.
- Use 3D models and CAD for generating survey points for layout in the field, and capture survey points in the field for verification against 3D models and CAD.
- Provide survey control for use in conjunction with 3D Laser Scanning and conduct 3D Laser Scanning.
- Perform point cloud registration using survey control.
- Prepare and maintain a variety of records, logs, diaries, and/or other related documentation.
- Analysis of record data, deeds, and plats for property and boundary control.
- Generate technical reports.

Educational Level :
Mandatory: Bsc in Geometric Engineering or Survey Diploma
Experience :
1 year minimum

MS Office Suite, Autodesk Civil 3D
