Active Directory Customer Engineer – Lebanon (Remote)
This position requires fluency in French, both verbally and in writing. Position Overview:
Active Directory Customer Engineers are responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers utilizing Microsoft Active Directory services. As trusted advisors, they collaborate closely with customers to understand their business needs, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide solutions that optimize the performance, security, and reliability of their Active Directory environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers to assess their Active Directory infrastructure, identify technical requirements, and provide expert guidance on best practices for design, implementation, and optimization.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Active Directory services, including domain controllers, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and other related components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Active Directory, such as authentication problems, replication issues, and directory service errors.
• Implement security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access to Active Directory resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Security, Networking, and Infrastructure, to integrate Active Directory with other systems and ensure seamless interoperability.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate customers on Active Directory capabilities and empower them to effectively manage their directory services.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and Microsoft product updates related to Active Directory, and provide informed recommendations and guidance to customers.
Technical Skills:
• Broad knowledge of on-premises and online Active Directory.
• Active Directory Domain Services, design, implementation, optimization, upgrade and administration.
• Active Directory troubleshooting (AD replication, SYSVOL replication, DNS, performance, etc.)
• Active Directory Disaster Recovery.
• Group Policies implementation, design and troubleshooting.
• Mitigating weak configurations found in Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure.
• Windows Server and Windows Clustering.
• PowerShell Scripting.
• Certificate Authority/PKI.
• RDS.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory services in enterprise environments.
• Strong technical expertise in Active Directory architecture, configuration, and administration, including experience with domain consolidation, migration, and upgrade projects.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Active Directory tasks.
• Knowledge of Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and other identity management solutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
