Leads the Finance function in a well-defined unit through
accountability of reporting, compliance, working capital and business
partnering
PURPOSE
Manages all financial aspects of a company, with the primary purpose to ensure the financial stability, growth, risk management and profitability of the organization, compliant with external regulation and internal policies and guidelines.
Assumes a leadership role within terminal management, challenging the status quo and providing financial advice to all stakeholders to enable them to make sound business and investment decisions.
Inspire, manage, motivate, and coach employees, support cross‐functional communication and collaboration, and maintaining costs efficient systems.
Act in the best interest of the Joint Venture while aligning with both individual shareholders. Play a pro-active and crucial role in the processes attending the Board and Audit Committee meetings.

Appetizer:
We are looking for a seasoned Finance Leader with a strong commercial mindset to join as Terminal CFO and with long term interest in an international career. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to the Finance, procurement and legal function, be a strong business partner to the managing director, support the local strategy development for the setup of current joint venture; and lead a strong business finance, procurement and legal team supporting and adding value to the terminal. You will be accountable for the quality of all accounting-related matters, ensure that the business result and performance measures are done on “one set of numbers”, develop a strong organization capable of supporting business growth, and actively contribute to the area of strategic plans.
Reporting to the Regional Chief Finance Officer, Asia and Middle East, and being
a core member of the ACT Leadership Team, you will play a key role in influencing the business priority and overall business direction based on financial insights and expertise.
The role is based in Aqaba, Jordan, and oversees all aspects of finance, procurement and legal. Including managing the joint venture partners.
The role is a steppingstone for a further international career in APMT or the other companies in the Maersk Group. This position is an expat role and location is in Aqaba.
