About the team 

FIS™ Protegent helps compliance officers cope with increasing data volumes, understand more sophisticated product risks, stay ahead of evolving regulations and rapidly respond to ongoing demands from auditors and regulators. FIS Compliance Suite of products helps firms meet their compliance and regulatory obligations – from providing comprehensive surveillance for insider trading and market manipulation to assisting in supervisory controls and supporting management reporting.

What you will be doing 

You will be a part of the FIS® Compliance Suite (formerly Protegent) next generation product development initiative, joining a team of highly motivated and focused developers to develop our next generation compliance product. As a Lead Engineer on this team, you will join our product team, to manage and support Snowflake environment on AWS Cloud clusters.  You will be responsible for building out brand-new cloud-based compliance platform, with the ability to process very high trading volumes, provide cutting edge user experience, and build resilient & maintainable solutions. You will be working with our development teams to analyze cluster issues, set up required components, onboard clients and set up CI-CD automation pipeline for build and release automation using Jenkins. You will get an opportunity to work with multiple products and businesses and develop a good understanding of the interesting world of trading and compliance.

What you will need:

Knowledge / Experience

6 to 10 years of hands-on experience of managing and supporting Snowflake on AWS Cloud clusters.

- Strong understanding of Cloud platforms AWS, Azure etc

- Strong database administrator skills for databases hosted in cloud platform.

- Experience of setting up CI/CD pipeline for build generation and deployment automation using tools like Jenkins.

- Experience of windows system administration

- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating across teams to troubleshoot issues.

- Critical support and availability for analyzing and resolving environment issues across different components of cloud platform.

- Airflow scheduler knowledge and experience of configuration and troubleshooting issues for day-to-day Dev/UAT and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer engineering and equivalent
