What are some effective ways for building a strong client relationships?

One would be to stick to your commitments with them and being in constant contact even if it is to ask how they have been, should they not have needed anything from you for a while

to be honest with clients & to build the trust in my product & loyality for it, doing my promises for them & make each client the client number one for our company.
