What are the benefits of hiring fresh graduates and training them to be back up manage of future?

We always have issues in getting a right manager with relevant experience for a particular function, then why cant we hire freshers and train them to be the managers we always wanted in our organization. What would be the pros and cons of this idea in an industry.

Fresh graduates are potential and hard worker for the organization and they want to take challenge to prove themselves. If organization recruits them and try to push the organizational goals an objectives, they would be more profitable than others.
