First, I may differentiate between EXTERNAL CONDITIONS  which as the description says "EXTERNAL" which implies they are not under the knowledge or control of the group, ..... and .... group member RESOURCES which seem to be an INTERNAL FACTOR availale within the members and under their knowledge and control

 

Secondly, I want to differentiate between  GROUP PERFORMANCE  which would be seen, evaluated and apprecited by individuals or entities outside the group based on RESULTS DELIVERED, and between SATISFACTION which could be an INTERNAL FEELING within the group members themselves

 

If my articulation/analysis of your question is correct, then I definitely can see the relationship between these two things and agree with this conclusion !How is another topic and is subject to the specifics of each and every element mentioned in your question.
