Which Organizational Structure would you recommend for projects and why (briefly) : 1) Functional 2) Projectized 3) Matrix 4) Family Structured

Matrix Type of Organizational Structure is recommended for projects as it combines the benefits of both Functional & Projectized Organisation.

The main disadvantage of Functional Organisation is that it does not delegate power & authority to the Project Manager which is essential for success of projects.

The main disadvantage of Projectized Organization is that you have to hire expert & skilled manpower & resources for each project and once the project is completed, they cannot be retained and are jobless till such time another project is started. 

If I have the decision I will select Projectized , but unfortunately we havn't the choice as employees , projectized organizational structures means one manager , faster in taking the descions and staff belong to the project , :)
