Do hotels notify guests when they forget something in their room?

hotels must will notify the guest  and will keep in house keeping store  till come Guest.

We do but we need to be careful when we contact the guest and to be sure that the one who response is the guest himself .

It should be. GSA's must notify the housekeeping department to check their room first before the guest leave the hotel. If the guest left something from the room, housekeeper will call front desk to inform the guest. If for instance the guest is in hurry and have left the hotel forgetting some stuffs, an email or a telephone call will be made to inform them regarding the items. Items will be then stored in Lost and Found and it will be kept until the guest returns. 

Yes and we store the items in Lost and found Properties Until the Guest will return , or if not for a period of1 year. 

well for the Hotel image it is really good thing to do i do believe, (it happend to me and we get flowers back as thankful from the people) more over it is thier rights to get thier things back.....
