It depends on the reason for disqualification. If it is for behavioral reasons or ethical reasons, there is no point in relocating or using him for other positions. (Assuming, continuous offender)

If it is due to performance related disqualification and his skills are suitable in other areas, I would consider relocation or other position for him.

Depends on the situation, how grave the offense? and what are the factors why you will disqualify an employee?,what are the categories that you have to disqualify him/her? who are involve on the decision? because HR Department is considered to be  People -centered they build and develop the potential talents and abilities of their people/employee,it should also be regulation-friendly,they will negotiate for both the company and the employee(win-win solution). If you have already disqualifies him due to non-performance,then you should ask yourself why he's not performing well, ask also if there is a problem within the team or within the department because sometimes there are employees that are introvert that they will keep it to themselves, have you given him/her the proper training to do his job?. If about work ethics, we have company policy and most of the MNCs they have their handbook where it contains the do's and don'ts oa the company,if he violated the company policy then it is only right that you can disqualify him and worst comes to worst terminate his employment if you have already exhausted all posible things that is indicated on the company policy.

To disqualify someone means that the decision was not right from the beginning. If the candidate you are dismissing can't fit in the job you assigned him to and you can see that he/she can succeed in another position, then why not.

Usually HR can decide in this regard if the employee is a member of the HR team. If not, HR may recommend their views to higher management and proceed according to thier decision.

Never say never is the best policy in all walks of life. If disqualified once, employees often learn from their mistakes and donot repeat the same mistakes again. motivate him and own him, it is always less expensive to retain your old employee than starting all over again those tiring training sessions for new employees.

,Hi,

there must be logical reason to determine he/she deserve to be disqualified.

as we working at the HR department which is we are the gate for both employer and employee, thus in my opinion, disqualification will be the last option that could be taken after examine all that occurs.

that will be good if we invite him/her to visit us to get closed with this employee as our aims to not take wrong decision by by disqualifying employee without further action.

as a human being mostly our attention is only focus for those employee that do sucess whereas  we forget that we are as a Human Resources we have another task and must be more attentive for those employees whom need further self development.

the mistake is not always on the employee but we may have to realize and ask ourself, are we capable to provide them a training to develop the employee in order meet company's satisfaction? why did he/she couldn't perform the job very well. remember we are the one who hire him/her thus there must be a reason why should we hire him/her? ( if the recruitment process has done with proper way regardless with relationship or special request  otherwise the HR team are not capable to work in HR as the company's regulations not been followed ).

each employee has different carachter since they were born thus understanding each and every employee is big challenges for HR department that's why prior we hire him/her we must be know him,/her very well from the way he/she responds/answer our question during face to face interview.

less explain, if this situation occurs, i will brief him/her to my office to get an idea about this issues and  there are alot of options could be given according to this, such as: providing self development training if he/she has bit difficulties to understand the Company business and the job, providing verball warning if we found him violates the company's rule ( the country's labor law is the best sample for giving the reprimand ), providing written warning letter if the violates or rule repeated2 or3 times then, scorsing dismissal from the work with unpaid ( see the country's labor law ) and final reprimand will be terminate the employment. Yet, some different cases such as, providing the fake documents prior hiring or cheating/corruption that make the company loss or found he / she disclose the company's information to the competitor or put down th credibility of the company thus he/she must be terminated/disqualified immediately.

such a good HR worker are the HR that able to develop it's employee and being closed profesionally with them and able to reduce the turn over by ensuring hiring the right candidates.

A disqualified employee !If he/she is not able to comply with the company policies and work procedures, and he/she is causing negative outcomes, it is better to fire him/her.

But if he/she can work better in different location/position and able to achieve success, it is better to relocate him/her.

When the employee is Disqualified from a certain position, he is lacking skills for that position. He can be downgraded to next level job so his skills can be utilized. It depends on many other external factors like, is the Market has more demand and less supply then obvioulsy the employee will not be fired.
