Can you choose between cutting a corner to meet a deadline, and missing a deadline in order to attend to a detail, which do you choose ?

I'd have to answer this question with another. What are the traits of the desired outcome?

Should it be the quality of said outcome, then missing a deadline would be just another day at the office, especially for small teams.
