WHY FLOATING FOUNDATION IS PREFERRED ARABS WHILE PILES ARE PREFERRED IN INDIA?

shallow foundations are preffered because we have good soil types for this type of foundations like sand soil wich gives high bearing capacity after compaction and reduces the cost , but piles are more expensive and it's needed only in sepecific works .
