I believe if Accountant is clear about the concept of ERP. That how ERP works and what are the basis of ERP than he can work in any software/ERP but any Software/ ERP do not means any sub slandered software rather any means any good branded software/ERP. Like SAP MS Axapta Oracle Sage Quick books

There is a goroup of those and they are pretty similar to each other when it comes to accounting. The main ones are SAP, Oracle, & QuickBooks. Experience in any of them enables using the others.

Large Business - SAP, Oracle

Small/Medium size business - Quickbooks, Peachtree Sage50 and Tally.

Its depend on Business which one can give good result for business normally in uae most popular software is

large business = SAP,ERP,  

small and midum size business = Tally,Peachtree,quickbook,busywin

but currently SAP is more Papular and demand in Market.

It is depends upon Volume of Business ( Oracle and SAP )  for large businesses  ( Peachtree , Quick Books and Tally ) for moderate and small business .

This mostly depends on the nature of business activity, but proficient knowledge in MS - Excel and any small ERP is quite enough.
