What does sales mean?

To convince someting to own something paying you money which would be value of product or service offered if its a business. If someone tries to convince other party to get something like job would be selling yourself for post to get work.

Sales is an art which makes people believe its an power to convince people to pay for the value what your project to them.

Sales for me is the art and science of convincing the customer that the product will satisy his/her need and value proposition is high as compared to competitors product.
