For Revit users: who uses Autodesk Revit for material takeoff schedules? I'm interested to know if anyone is using Revit to create complete BOQ

We are extracting all the quantities and materials using the Schedules in Revit.

One important note on this is that your quantities in Revit are going to be as good as your models are. When you have "complete" models you'll be able to get "complete" quantities. At tendering stages probably Navisworks is helping you more. Both applications can work together, furthermore you may involve Excel as well to develop the information further (at any stage).

Revit is great for making BOQ. but not as accurate as Navisworks for example as Navisworks gives you more control for calculating the BOQ.

We have used Revit to make a complete BoQ for two large graving docks, and also did a check of the BoQ, works perfect if you respect the layers and describe your materials complete.

Sir we can easly take Schedules, Quantities within  Revit  and easly export to Excel 

REVIT is one of most good softwer for using the drawing

Clocks will not matter. Time can be bend like bambu. Materials will be made with biomechanical agriculture and nutricion data. Software can be build on demand. Project by project. Challenge by challenge each time a problem presents itself.

yes this software is vey nice to take of automatic from drawing this is good for quantity also
