How would you deal with a situation when subordinates you supervise disagreed with your directives?

first of all i will make sure my directives are right and i will explain them and i will hear there feedback, ask them gently and shall not compromise there safety contractual rights. if these were fulfilld and they didn't follow them i will take a displanry action that match the situtation.
