I would like to explain this with a real time example.
In my opinion, after education, students must be ready to get into a job. Businesses/Organizations must be able to customize than train these students. But in India, the situation is completely different. India is struggling due to high percentage of unemployability (from Ministry of Human Resource India). Organizations complain that the passing out graduates are not even equipped with basics for employment. Govt. run Universities complain that the standards set by government is too low. Private Universities complain that the organizations ask for more than what students can perform.
To my knowledge this is a GAP. Solution must be identified and the solution must undergo an impact analysis phase after gap analysis.
